Aerie, Vans coming to Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets

Two new retailers, Aerie and Vans, will open at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets later this year, Simon Property Group announced today.

Intimate apparel company Aerie, which is owned by Pittsburgh-based American Eagle Outfitters, will open its 5,001-square-foot store in May. It will sell undergarments, activewear, loungewear and accessories. 

Costa Mesa, Cali.-based action sport footwear and apparel company Vans will open its 4,000-square-foot store in fall. It will sell clothing and footwear for skateboarding, surfing and winter sports. 

The new stores will join a group of over 90 tenants at the shopping center including Adidas, Banana Republic Factory Store, Calvin Klein, Converse, Levi’s Outlet, T Sunglass Hut and Under Armour.

“We are thrilled to add Aerie and Vans to our growing roster of designer and brand-name retailers,” said Tera Greenland, the new general manager at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets. “The opening of these two stand-out retailers supports our commitment to provide shoppers with quality merchandise, enormous value and an evolving selection of coveted brands people have come to expect at Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets.”

In addition, Kenosha-based underwear and activewear retailer Jockey International Inc. will relocate its outlet store to a upgraded space at the center. Construction on the new 3,002-square-foot location begins in April.

Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets is located 60 miles north of Chicago and 38 miles south of Milwaukee, off Interstate 94 at Highway 165. The shopping center has had more has had 12 total store openings, re-openings and expansions since August 2017, not including Aerie or Vans. New stores include discount bookstore Book Warehouse, men’s apparel store  Attitude, women’s fashion boutique Francesca’s, a new Starbucks, China Town and Teriyaki Grill, Asics shoe store and eighty1 Fashions, which specializes in women’s shoes.

Maredithe has covered retail, restaurants, entertainment and tourism since 2018. Her duties as associate editor include copy editing, page proofing and managing work flow. Meyer earned a degree in journalism from Marquette University and still enjoys attending men’s basketball games to cheer on the Golden Eagles.
