West Allis-based Advanced Waste Services Inc. announced that it has acquired the assets of Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Waste Water Systems LLC. The acquisition expands Advanced Waste Services’ market area into Iowa.
Advanced Waste Services is an industrial waste collection, transportation and treatment firm.
Waste Water Systems operates a non-hazardous waste processing facility. Mark Lob, president of Waste Water Systems, will now serve as operations manager for that facility.
Advanced Waste Services operates full-service waste collection and non-hazardous waste processing facilities in West Allis; Rockford, Ill.; Portage, Ind.; New Castle, Pa.; and now adds the facility in Cedar Rapids with the acquisition of Waste Water Systems.
