Abele first county exec candidate to hit the airwaves

Milwaukee County exec candidate Chris Abele decries the lack of cooperation in county government in the first TV ad of the campaign.

"Here in Milwaukee County, we’re all in this together," the philanthropist says in the 30-second spot. "So why don’t our politicians ever work together to get things done?"

An announcer calls Abele a "civic leader and community advocate," adding that he’s revitalized Milwaukee non-profits and led an audit "that’ll save taxpayers over $200 million."

"I don’t care if it’s a Republican idea or a Democratic idea. If it’s a good idea that creates jobs, we’re going to do it," Abele says.
