55-home subdivision planned for Merton

The Gross brothers, doing business as Lake Five Partners, LLC., purchased the property from Merton View Partners for $1.4 million.

Ron Reinowski, Merton village president, said the village is excited for the new addition, after having stagnant growth since the Great Recession.

“We had upwards of 90 homes a year in 2004 and 2005 and were growing at a higher rate than any other municipality in Waukesha County,” Reinowski said. “This will be the first new full subdivision since the downturn.”
