Helium Trampoline Park would occupy 25,000 square feet of space in the 54,155-square-foot building, which is under construction at 16235 W. Beloit Road. However the business does not yet have a lease for the space.
“We’re involved in active (lease) negotiations,” said Zilber vice president Mike Mervis.
This would be the first trampoline park in the state of Wisconsin, according to information submitted to the City of New Berlin. Trampoline parks have interconnected trampolines that enable users to bounce from one to the other. Trampoline parks began in Las Vegas in 2004 and now there are about 70 in the United States, Canada and Australia and another 30 are expected to open by the end of the year, according to Las Vegas Civil Engineering-Nevada.
Helium Trampoline will have a 6,700-square-foot trampoline in its main court, interconnected trampolines, a two-trampoline dodgeball courts, a foam pit, a half pipe, party rooms and a snack bar.
About 10 people will work at Helium Trampoline.
The business is primarily targeted to birthday parties for kids 3-12, but also for teens, corporate events, and fitness.
